After watching the anime last summer, then watching Trust and Betrayal, then buying the whole manga in January, then reading it all in 2-3 months, I finally finished Rurouni Kenshin. This was an amazing journey I don’t regret taking. I heard the Beginning is the best in the series, but it's the Final that really ties them all together. but "The Beginning" can also be slotted anywhere you deem appropriate, as it's Kenshin's past story. Enishi's order: Rurouni Kenshin -> Kyoto Infierno -> Legend Ends -> The Beginning -> The Final. It's the only way to not spoil The Final, and

Just finished watching this via Fuji-TV - So spoilers below The ep begins with Kenshin and Aoshi from the last 30 seconds from the previous episode. Yahiko is asked to stand back. It then leads into their fight which (IMO) looks way better than the 90's TV series by a mile. It's minor, but it gets silly fast. Occasional, later in the series, the show does lapse into filler (as many shows of this length are wont to do), but overall, Rurouni Kenshin does remain an exciting, enjoyable watch. It's a lot of fun, and it appeals to action-lovers and shoujo fans alike, surprisingly enough.
This is because Watsuki himself stated that he wanted Kenshin to have a happy ending. For some fans, Kenshin's adventure storyline ended when he finished fighting Shisio and Enishi Yukishiro at the end of the story. Kenshin is then shown to have married Kaoru and had a son, Kenji Himura. He then passed on his Sakabato sword to Kenshin and Kaoru
I had to look for references at the same time as I was drawing the series; I knew very little about the Shinsengumi. I like the Shinsengumi since I created Sengoku no Mikazuki in the year that I finished Rurouni and started Rurouni Kenshin, the only book that I read was about the Shinsengumi [laughs]. . . . My favorites are Hijikata Toshizou
Rurouni Kenshin has to be one of the more beloved samurai manga out there, with a sizable fandom spanning the classic manga to the anime which ran on Toonami. The franchise also grew exponentially
